Good. Thank you for being so patient. Thank you thank you for being here.
Well, the Grager family took a little mini-vacation to the Black Hills of South Dakota last week. I don't know how the others feel...but I...seriously...could live there. There is just an unexplainable energy that I feel there.
Love. It.
Mind if I share a few photos with you in the next few days?
The following is one of the neighboring cabins.
Yeah.
Gorgeous, isn't it! I contemplated knocking on their door to ask for sugar. Neighbors do that, don't they?
We spent 3 nights staying in a rental cabin...built on an intense incline. Wow. Just going to the mailbox could be considered a true aerobic workout!
And there were wildflowers. Everywhere. My sweet family heard me say this over and over: "...there is this scent that I keep smelling. It's amazing! What is it?!"
I never did figure it out. Gosh. Should have asked the neighbors!
Ah...glorious, majestic trees.
And weathered, eroded rocks...surviving all elements.
Although there's no place like home...it was a pretty sweet place to be!
Thanks for tagging along with my camera and me!

OH yes! I truly understand your comment about energy....Being outside with trees and rocks and air...I love that kinda energy!! Glad you had fun, Darcie!
Welcome home and oh my, Darcie. What a beautiful setting. Such lovely photos. Isn't it so wonderful to be able to share like this - with pictures and technology? Did you happen to take an yarn along with you or were you hobby-less on vacation? What about the dogs - did they stay behind or come along?
It's a lovely place.. sacred to the Lakota Indians.... perhaps that is the energy you feel?
