Happy Earth Day to you Earthlings who recycle and re-use and re-purpose...and who just plain do what you can to make this a better planet in which to live and breathe.
I have been reading that we are supposed to celebrate Earth Day with a picnic. Hmm. Thanks...but I think I will pass on that invitation this year.
It is April 22...and although we have less snow than these pictures from last week show...it just is not your typical picnic-type weather today.
Although...on second thought...the watermelon and potato salad would certainly stay chilled, wouldn't they!
There is always a bright side if you look for it.

Yes...I love your bright sided ideas! Brrr, it looks so cold there...think of all that good moisture soaking into the farmland, for some wonderful crops this fall!!
A picnic in the snow can be fun if there is a nice bonfire included. However, given how wet this spring snow can be, I think I'll wait a bit.

I'd prefer the picnic food to our traditional Easter fare....hmmm something to think about.
