Do you do that? Tend to be inspired by food? The color...the texture? Or perhaps it is nature that inspires you? Flora and fauna...water...rocks or mountains or sand dunes.
Where am I going with this? Nowhere, really. Just things that I tend to think about daily. How about you?
Just how many chocolates...or...umm...browns do you think were consumed...or umm...used in this quilt?
The girls at my favorite little quilt store -- the Comforts of Home -- pieced this quilt. I machine quilted it with my Swirls...the hand guided, template followed pattern that I absolutely love!
But you knew that, didn't you!

Such a gorgeous quilt.
Thank you for sharing this beauty.

That is a very pretty quilt! Not big on browns and blues together, but yours is beautiful!!
And she said outloud first thing:
"Wow! This is a really, really cool quilt." ~ that's the hot off the presses reaction.
Then she clicked on the photos and said, again outloud "Amazing". That quilting is simply beautiful. Another raw reaction. The real deal.
I love these colors together. I savor brown. I tend to make up stories for my quilts. Stories that go back into history usually.
The colors are wonderful together, very retty. TTFN ~ Marydon
I love blue and brown together. Very cool.
Great quilt, and I have no clue how many browns, but lots! And blues, too. I love your swirls on there. Now I don't know whether I want that or your all over feather stuff on my Baker's Square. I guess I'll let money decide. =)
Imagine Darcie, how tasty can be drinking a coffee while eating a dark chocolate.
Fantastic quilt.

Food? Me? HA! My addition has been called a seven layer bar! Mostly butterscotch walls, one chocolate wall, a graham cracker floor, and a white coconut ceiling!! Hmmm....now I'm hungry.
Loving this water and chocolate...I mean blue and brown quilt! And the quilting!!
Oh YUM! This is such a pretty quilt!! As I always say, it's the quilting that makes it! Gorgeous! I love love the brown and blues...now where's that chocolate stash...
I was driving through farm country the other day and all the brown fields were plowed with brilliant blue skys. And big patches of bright green grass/trees. Nature does provide such beautiful color schemes - I think brown and blue go together perfectly. And what a lovely quilt!!! A winner. Cheers!
